Would love some help here guys.

Im a US citizen, and shes a canadian citizen. We got engaged a month ago. Herr H1b expires at the end of the month.

We want to keep her in the country, and also have her be able to work at the same time. Do we have any options?

If we file the i130, can she stay in the country while it is processing? We are running out of time.

If we get a k-1, does the empl. auth apply when we transfer status from k1 to i130? Ie, is it the same empl. auth or do we reapply

Or, in other words If the k1 expires (only get 90 days) and we have gotten married and are waiting for th ei130, does she have to leave if the i130 is taking too long?

We were going to file the i130, and get married of course. Can she work while the i130 is processing?

We wanted to wait a year to get married, do we have any good options to keep her in the states and work too?

Thanks!
