:blink: :blink: :blink:Under Philippines sub-forum. (Filipinos)

Where in the thread i have mentioned compare fiace visa to spousal visa?

I have clearly stated at the title MONTHS vs. YEARS, where the sub-title briefly emphasized "period of waiting before visa on hand"

I never said FIANCE VISA vs. SPOUSAL VISA.

If you don't like this, don't bother to reply. Especially when i am intending this to fellows Pinoy and not other nationalities.

Sorry if the thread offended you.

I'm trying to understand the point of this. I mean, visa processing has its ebbs and flows -- comparing when I went through K-1 three years ago to when IMBRA went through, or the fee increase last summer, well, it's apples and oranges really. And there's no point in comparing fiance to spousal visas, since their times are different for a reason. So why start a thread like this?

I dont understand the motives of people of other nationalities getting upset with things filipinos talk about. I saw recently someone from another nationality asked for a topic in the philippine forum to be moved to off topic although it was relevent to filipinos. Why care if you arnt filipino or married to one. Why try to dictate a forum that has nothing to do with you. I tried to explain once about how divorce can be ugly in the US and man can loose everything because of the way the laws are only to have offended a person of another nationality whom I wasnt adressing nor did her situation apply to what I was reffering to. Whats the deal ay.

Exactly Stephen1. :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs:

If u were filing K1 3 years ago no wonder u really don't understand K1 and spousal visa processing :rofl: it takes long to process fruits when its not systematic....,I can plant oranges @ USCIS but i am wondering when my documents reaches @ NVC it was apples :devil: :devil: :devil:

if were thinking there's no point of this thread stay out of here :dance: :dance: :dance:

:wow::rofl::lol:

:ot2::P

1) I was trying to figure out why SHAPE needed to make a list of times, hence me asking the question. All she needed to tell me was "because I wanted to", and that would have sufficed for me. There was no need for insults. It was an honest, curious question -- I wasn't upset, or offended, or trying to dictate what one group should or shouldn't talk about. Quite the opposite actually, I was genuinely curious about why making this list was important.

2) I have been on VJ for 4 years, and have done a lot of reading and research on ALL the different visas and the process. I know quite a bit about it, there was no need to be rude to me in stating that since I did my K-1 so long ago, I have no idea what is going on now. Not true. I also make a point of reading other country's forums so that I can have an understanding of what other fellow VJ'ers go through, so I can have a global perspective. So if that is intruding or whatever, my apologies.

3) The reason why I said what I did is that a lot of people -- especially people who are new -- don't understand why the wait is as long or short as it is, and when they start comparing timelines or wait times without understanding the process, they start to freak out. They don't realize that some service centres take longer than others, or that spousal visas take longer than fiance visas due to different processing and as a result stress themselves out for no reason when they look at a list of different visas together. I didn't want that to happen to you all, or to anyone new reading this thread for that matter.

4) If you only wanted people from your forum or nationality to respond to the question, you should have said so from the beginning! This is a public forum, and anyone can read and respond when and where they want, and a lot of people don't pay attention to what forum a thread is posted in, they see the topic, they read, and they respond. I am one of those people. You can't be upset when others want to participate or comment in a public forum.

I am sorry you think I was not being nice by asking my question, it was not my intent. And with that being said, I am done. Hope you all have a nice day. :)
