Hi everyone,

Doing the I-130 now,

I am L-1 Visa holder married to USC living in US already.

In Part C there are a few questions I need help with:

19. Your relative's address abroad.

For this, do I list an address if I am already living in the US?

21. If filing for your husband/wife, give last address at which you lived together.

I'm putting our current address (of course), but can I just put present in the "TO" field for the date range. Not sure how stick they are about exact dates...

22. Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status.

Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:

If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status, he or she will apply for a visa abroad at the American consular post in:

This seems like a double part question, the first part - do I just list my local USCIS office? i.e. Orlando, Fl?

The second part, I am eligible for adjustment of status, so do I still need to fill this in?

Thanks!

It depends on whether you have kept a residence in your country of origin. This form is also used to petition for people who live abroad, thus the question. If you still have an adress abroad, put it there, but since you're in the US, it is important to put your US address in part C, question 2.

yes, put "present"

Yes, list your local USCIS office.

Yes, fill in with "N/A".

As a general rule, do not leave any question unanswered, write "N/A" or "None" where applicable, and don't write "N/A" where "None" is more appropriate.

Wanted to ask a bit abt the same question.. I have filed i-130 for my wife(indian) and got a rejection based on the part c question. In the 797 it says name-XXX

dob-XXX

country of birth --Unknown..

and the description for rejection says Part C Address

So i checked the i-130 and since i had filled it and saved electronically, The state/country field it did not print "MAHARASHTRA/INDIA." It printed just "MAHARASHTRA" I could see this as the only possible mishap in my application.

can I reprint a new i130 and send the old support documentation?. Also I had included a certified check which is stamped by "US Dept of Homeland Security Citizenship & Immigration Services"..Can I still use this?

Much appreciate if ne 1 can answer this..
