This is one of those simple questions that I've been thinking about far too hard and as a result have totally confused myself over. :blush:

Step Two of Packet 3 requires that you place a check-mark against each item listed and then return the checked list to the embassy. Do you have to place a check-mark against every single item, even if they do not apply to you? Obviously half of the items I do not require (divorce certificate, court record, etc.) but I don't want the lack of a check-mark to suggest an incomplete list.

I wrote N/A at the side of anything that didn't apply to me and I didn't tick the box.

I wrote N/A next to those items I wasn't collecting although I don't think it really matters as once they look at your forms they will see that those items are not applicable anyway.

Seeing as though I have only just sent it back I don't know if I have done the right thing or not though. I just didn't think about it too much. Hmmm.
