They should:

1. Eliminate VWP.

2. Disallow AOS for individuals here on visitor visas.

3. Strengthen income/asset requirements for the Affidavit of Support.

4. Disallow divorced foreigners with conditional LPR status to remove conditions unless they were the victim of physical/mental abuse.

5. Allocate a sh1tload of new funds for ICE. Use it.

Interesting POV from you Troll? Seemingly pro-amnesty, however anyone here legally should have their legal route to become PR removed. Care to explain?

Visitors are perfectly able to go back and apply from their home countries. Visitor visa holders tend not to be the poor and the destitute; these are people who can afford air fare.

So then what about #3? What about the poor and destitute looking for family visas?

If they can't afford to support their families and sponsors, out with them.

So then you're also in favor of a minimum income requirement for amnesty?

A raise in the income requirement can help too IMO[/color]

A raise in the income requirement doesn´t solve anything. Or do you mean K1 and K3 visas should only be granted to those whose USC SO is rich? Didn´t know that only the rich people happen to find the true love...

only $10,000 ??

Bump it to $25,000 to be a real deterrent for attempts to game the system ....

Why would it be a deterrent? It'd just make it easier for people with money to "buy" green cards.

Well as stated in a later post ... money not acceptable ... go home and do the process from the beginning ...

It sounds like jealousy speaking. I don´t think it should bother people how slow or fast other people get approved. It should bother people if there are lots of fake marriages out there. In some cases innocent people get hurt by being used. In other cases green cards are being paid for. And I don´t think it matters if someone is just visiting USA, falls in love and the couple decides to get married. Good for them if that´s what they want. Or are you saying it´s only ok for people who wanna get married to get married when they want to only when they are from the same country? There are lots and lots of fake marriages that go through K1 or K3. Telling somebody to go somewhere else and wait won´t solve those.

Ditto, but this part is a problem. It is entirely too easy for a beneficiary to claim abuse right now. Obviously it happens sometimes and needs to be dealt with, but the way the system is set up now they can claim abuse without any proof.
