The U.S. Census Bureau predicts that by the year 2030, 9.6 million people on the road will be at least 85 years old. Already, as of 2005, 11% of fatal crashes in the U.S. were caused by drivers that old or older. So, should the goverment be revoking licenses after a certain age?Should they ban senior drivers? What age is too old to drive? Is there another solution

Ban teenagers, not seniors!

Ban teenagers of course. but once you have license, after you reach a certain age, you should need to have your eyes checked each year as sight deteriorates with age. And once your eyes get too bad, there goes your license. It is cruel to just take license away after they reach a certain age. that is why we must base it on how good theri sight is to see. Provided there are not other health factors anyways. Like someone in a walker, for example....no, I doubt they would be able to drive for example:)

Depends on the senior. I've seen some 65 yo that shouldn't be on the road then their's my grandma that's 87 and sharper than many drivers on the road. Maybe yearly evaluations after a certain age.

Test the seniors annually.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

YEs it is. :star:

Why discriminate against seniors they are just people too! I mean they are human beings, treat them as such, it is their right to drive!

Test the seniors annually.

Driving isn't a right.

How about reading" United States Declaration of Independence" and the "Among these inalienable rights, as proclaimed in that great document, is the right of men to pursue their happiness". Wouldn't that count? Driving is my happiness so
