OK not sure where to post this question but I thought i'd post it and the powers that be will find the right home... lol.

I just recieved the transcripst for the last three tax years.. I filed joint cause at those times my x and I were married. My question is I had income but not alot until last year (fighting for divorce required me to find good work but cause we were married we filed jointly) will that cause us difficulties that I didn't have enough the third year (2005)?? and that i'll be submitting my tax transcripts with "married filled jointly?"

we have 50% custody of the kids so I have to show support of me, my husband and one child?? I have two but cause of 50% custody claim only one. So currently I make enough over poverty line for the three of us....

Oh and BTW since my x is the one who filled the tax returns the transcripts went to him.... even though I called and gave them my address...not cool.

I am in the same situation with my tax transcripts as far as married filing joint. However my income was always OK. But it states that only the last years tax transcript is needed. the other two are voluntary. So if your income on the last years taxes was good enough, I would just send in the one. You also include your current paystubs and letter from your employer to prove current income. It is your current income that is important.
