What is the Interview letter?

hey just a question. what is the appointmment leter everyone brings to the interview? maribel hasnt goten one. she ahs a letter stating she is eligile to make the appt. right now we are waiting for the results of the sputum test. she was told once the result came back, on/around 31 july, the clinic would schedule the interview. so wjhat exactlyu is the appt letter? is it a hard copy with a date on it? i am wondering becasue i paid the $18 fee to call and make the appointment, and if i do that on the phone there will be no hard info for her to show the guards. any help would be great appreciated, maribel is stressing reading everyone experiences and they all mention the appointment letter.

call the embassy for an interview appointment then they will send you a confirmation email of the said appointment..have it printed then bring it at the interview...goodluck...

when and if you call to schedule interview, the call center will send Maribel an appointment letter via email immediately after the call or right after you give them maribel's email addy.. they will do so again for final confirmation 3 days before interview.

wizardfitz has already bought the $18 pin so he can actaully call anytime, the number for calling outside the Philippine would be +1-888-877-9888... I believe it will be cheaper to call outside the philippines compared to calling within the Philippines.

When we called, when my fiance called rather, we made sure we were chatting on YM (complete with cam and YM phone) so any info asked from him that he is not sure of, he just threw it to me by typing it... i could also hear him talking to the agent on the phone so I know when he pauses for any info and I just give him the complete spelling, etc. any info he needed through chat window.

We (or fiance) actually called 2 times using the same pin (the $18 Pin will be good for 3 calls in any duration). 1st call lasted for more than 30minutes, it was to schedule the interview appointment. Then second call was to re-schedule the interview to a closer date.

In Maribel's case, SLEC will be the one to schedule her interview at USEM right? Maybe they will give her interview appointment letter when they do so. I am not really sure about it, maybe some who had undergone sputum exam will be able to share.

thank you all for the help. Maribel is OC and proud of it. so when she kept reading all the post about the letter she was nervous we had forgotten something. she has to call Clark at the SLEC on 31 July to schedule an appt for the result of the sputum test. so since i already called the USEM once and was told it was to soon to schedule an appt, i will call them on 16 June< their time frame, to try and schedule her for an Early Aug interview. worse case i will make a third and final call to reschedule the interview.
