I'll suggest that to him. Ammar wants to see really tall buildings and he doesn't want to enter a single museum. So we gotta take that into consideration. (my vote is still for LA lol). Oh! And he will NOT get onto a boat. I am really trying. Otherwise, I'd drag him out on a boat.

ETA: he also will not go out on piers. We went out on one at Aqaba and he wouldn't let me get more than halfway before he literally freaked out, picked me up under his arm, and screamed "We have had enough!! This is it!! We're going back!!!" And I had no real choice but to go with him as wasn't touching the ground anymore. I really wish I could have gone out on that pier. Sigh.

I may try to cut that down to 3 or so. I printed off a huge list of things to do in Chicago. I think once he sees the prices of things and ponders driving the 16 hours up there and back.. and then once he thinks about hotel costs... he is going to cut that 4 days down I was surprised though that he wanted to do Chicago so he could see my parents. Who is ever that excited about their in-laws? LOL!

Let's see, Chicago with no museums or piers........just walking on Michigan Ave and seeing the loop is fun. A walk on Lake Michigan is cool. In Bridgeview is the largest mosque. I really cant recall having any fun in Chicago..lol. I go in there for a certain thing, like a concert then get the heck out.

Me, I avoid Chicago like the plague...lol. Too many flippin people for my taste. Maybe Kelly can tell you some of the fun things there. Great idea, if ya'll come up here, we can meet at Al Basha for dinner, and invite Kel and Sofyan, Dawn & Hatem, Andrea and Faisal, it would be fun. A MENA dinner party/meetup! We're more fun than Chicago anyday!

Parts of our ' Michigan Avenue ' are full of hookers and homeless and all around urban blight. Yep, I also avoid the city because I like my scalp. I don't think I have ever been to the windy city, though.

First touched down about 4:30 and stayed hopping up and down for 3 hours, all the way from Wilmington til it hit Lake Michigan! It was wild to watch it on the radar.

I have a measure this morning in one of the areas it hit. (well MAYBE i have a measure) It also hit near one of my builder projects, I will check on them too on my way to work. Amazing no one was reported hurt, just alot of damage.
