Hey! When you get a sec, I have a quesiton for you (or anyone). Ammar wants to take a 4-day trip with his brother if he gets to visit to a major US city. Ideas?

Also wanted to say he is leaning toward chicago, because Ahmed could fly in there and we could met him. You know I am leaning towards LA because then I can get in my selfish CA time. But anyway. So he is thinking Chicago and Ammar wants to take Ahmed by my parents' house to meet them, and drive home basically. So.... We could do that and stop by my Aunt's house and go see where my Grandma lived (she's dead now, my cousin owns the house/farm). I tried to convince him LA has Hollywood, Disneyland, whatever.. but he still thinks about Chicago because he wants to see my parents. I jsut cannot think of 4 days worth of stuff to DO there.

Yeah Julianna my vote is for Washington DC! It's amazing and most everything is free to see. There are nine Smithsonian museums all free. It could take a year to see all of just one of them!

I'll suggest that to him. Ammar wants to see really tall buildings and he doesn't want to enter a single museum. So we gotta take that into consideration. (my vote is still for LA lol). Oh! And he will NOT get onto a boat. I am really trying. Otherwise, I'd drag him out on a boat.

ETA: he also will not go out on piers. We went out on one at Aqaba and he wouldn't let me get more than halfway before he literally freaked out, picked me up under his arm, and screamed "We have had enough!! This is it!! We're going back!!!" And I had no real choice but to go with him as wasn't touching the ground anymore. I really wish I could have gone out on that pier. Sigh.
