My wife has asked me this question several times so I thought that I would post it... If Sen. Obama becomes president, will they call it "The Black House"? :P She is so crazy...

Yep...it's right up there with Fuzzy Zoeler's 'fried chicken and collard greens' comment about what food will be served at the Master's Championship Dinner since the defending champion (Tiger Woods), gets to select the menu.

What is wrong with fried chicken and collard greens? That is great food, see it is just like someone to twist it and use the ole race baiting or race card as a crutch to fall back on and blame all their problems in life on "RACISM" what a joke, food is food, what does it have to do with racism. :unsure:

I would love to hear that as the theme song at their inauguration. That would beat "don't stop thinking about tomorrow" from the Clintons where we had to suffer through watching Al Gore dance. I promise I vote for him in 2012 if he does that.

Don't want to dwell on details, but since Obama's mom is white, wouldn't that make it the "tan" house? Reminds me of the time in law school when Eddie wasn't allowed to join the Black Law Student's Association because his father was Irish!

Actually, the reason it is the 'white' house is because it originally was a 'black house'- black with soot and ash after being burned by the British during the War of 1812. It was white-washed/repainted 'white' to cover the charring.

Still, that was cute.
