calm down sweetie and take a deep breath, (don't forget to let it out) Some times it takes up to 90 days for NVC to receive the case. It has not been that way lately, but it all depends on your case ans when it was sent out from the Service Center. I know that NVC updates their phone messages on Tuesdays, so if they got your case on Wed or Thurs, it may be at NVC but not on the phone message yet. Call again Tuesday morning to see if they have received it yet.

OKay THANK YOU!!! I didnt know they updated it on Tuesdays. I am just trying to move things along since I have to file a I-601 and that takes such a long time. I am just so scared about everything. I am scared my I-601 wont be approved and my husband will have to face the 10yr bar. I am just going crazy.

I am in the same boat. I have enough "hardships" that I would assume that we would get approved, but I am scared to death. I keep searching on-line for homes for rent near the US-Mexico Border so that My husband and I can live in Mexico and I can travel to the US to work. That is how worked up I am about it. But Last night I prayed, and prayed hard. I have to give it to God, I am hoping for a miracle, and I cannot perform a miracle, onlu God can. This is an incredibly difficult process that we are all going through, and the only way I know how to survive is to rely on God, and that He will get us through.

Ok, my I-130 was approved 5/21/08 and the NVC still has not received it. I see everyone elses time lines and they got NVC case numbers right away. Some one please help calm me down. I am scared

something is going wrong.

Our case (I-129F) was approved 5/5/08(even earlier than yours), but the NVC still has not received it. I talked to an operator at the NVC, and my husband talked to an operator at the USCIS. None of those calls was much help. They just said, just wait for up to 90 days (implying that they have nothing to help you by then). I am also very anxious and frustrated. Yesterday was our second wedding anniversary, while we still live apart across the Pacific :crying:

I am so sorry to hear that. Yep they told me it could take up to 90 days. I have seen timelines where they have case numbers two days after being approved so I dont want to hear that 90 day ####### ya know. Well lets cross our fingers for that new update on Tuesday to have our case numbers.
