Applying while temporarily living abroad

Hi all...

I'm living in England this summer with my fiance, but will be returning to the States in August (one of the many benefits of being a teacher--summers off!). I've been reading about how slow the California Service Center is, so my fiance and I decided to send in our materials now rather than wait until August.

There's only space on the I-129F application for one phone number/address. I've been filling it out with my US information, but am not sure if that is the best way to go. My one thought was to fill it out with the US info and then on the cover letter give them the specific info for the summer (UK address and phone number). Has anyone had experience with this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, and good luck to all of you!

I would use the US information only. They'll only be contacting you by mail and will only mail domestically. You'll need somebody to access your mail for you and forward on anything pertinent to immigration.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
