Hello everyone!!! I would love to solicit your opinion regarding processing of K1..

Can anyone tell me what the actual time is now for a fiancee visa out of the California processing center?

I read on the website that but it was Nov 2007.

Also,

If the application gets denied for some paperwork problem, what is the time it takes to get back in line? Do you start back from square one?

Thank you for your help...

You need to look through the timelines to get an idea of how long most petitions are taking right now. All the links at the top of the board will help you to understand the process better. Every bit of information you could want to know is up there ^. Do some reading. ;)

If you say forget to include a check..or fill the check out wrong.. the entire petition could be sent back to you. If your paperwork is not filled out properly or if they need more information (RFE) after they start processing it then you will receive an email (if you're signed up for email updates at the uscis website) stating that they are sending you an RFE. When you receive the hardcopy (at the address listed on your petition) it will tell you what they are looking for. There is usually at least a couple of weeks delay in processing depending on what it is you need to supply them with and how long it takes you to get it back to them.
