Hi everyone, just wanna know how important the police clearance is during the interview for K1 Visa, everything is prepared except for this which I don't think I can get one since I stayed illegal in another country for almost 2 years. :crying: Any help I can get, I will highly appreciate it. Thanks! :help:

It's important. :yes:

Is it safe to assume this two-year period (and country) is accounted for on all of your biographical forms? (It may not be impossible to obtain a clearance...) :thumbs:

if you were working or stay in another country of course you will need it to file or request for it. I don't know about the illegal as long as your not commit on the crime..otherwise they will look at your record from there. I've been in other country and I request for my police clearance at MECO.

06-02-2008 =touched

06-03-2008 =touched

06-10-2008 = NOA2

06-17-2008 = NVC harcdcopy

07-03-2008 = medical (passed)

07-09-2008- Paid DV

07-16-2008 - DV Forward to NSO

08-05-2008= Interview

08-20-2008 = visa printed

08-21-2008 = VISA ON HAND ( my birthday too)

09-02-2008- flight to USA

10-18- 2008= wedding
