Just got my passport with the precious little paper inside!!!! DHL delivery on Saturday, wow, im impressed!

Thank you all, thank you thank you thank you!!!!

PS.: the cheapest flights that i can find are via some other countries, mostly in Europe...if i buy a ticket like that, do i need a transit visa???????

As long as you do not pass passport control, a transit visa is not required. It is only if you needed to physically leave the airport. Switching planes is just switching planes.

Yes, as KT said you shouldn't need a visa to transit through most countries. However, I would check with the airline once you buy your ticket because they can tell you for sure if you need a visa or not.

Yes, as KT said you shouldn't need a visa to transit through most countries. However, I would check with the airline once you buy your ticket because they can tell you for sure if you need a visa or not.
I would also check with the consulate of the transiting through country. As crazy it sounds a lot of European nations require certain nationals of Africa and the Middle East to get visas even if they are just transiting.
