The best things come to those that wait.

Hang in there, 4 months really isn't that long, at least compared to a lifetime together.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Iam so glad that my fiance will be flying in my country next week to visit me... Im hoping that before end of June i will have my NOA2. I got my fingers crossed..........

It's been over a year for us. Some ppl have waited 4 years. This process isn't short. Maybe make plans now to come see each other again in the near future. I haven't seen my Husband in 16 months and by the time I do see him again it will be 2 yrs and we still won't have his visa. Keep in constant communication and try to see each other as much as possible.

Tell her not to worry, and dont you worry either. as long as she has file all the correct documents and provided enough proof it will happen. i filed in october... and we were approved at the end of april that is 6 months. my case wasnt touched either.. and is now approved and we are waiting for the interview which is on the 19th. my case with uscis still shows pending on the website. but we have our approval. dont rely on the website with uscis... because it doesnt always tell you what is going on.

good luck to you

Hi Ahmed and Michelle,

So sorry about this "depression". A lot of us here experience this feeling and in order for us to overcome this it's better to refresh the time that we were together with our loved ones, the happy moments, the love for each other and that no matter what happen you and her are still sticking with each other and and believe and have faith that the Right Time will come for you to be together again. It's just a matter of time. The patience and love will keep you holding on.

Ahmed,

Hi there..many of us went through with what you are going through right now. But dont lose hope, worry will eat you up and you will not be productive. 4 months is not yet a long time..many of the applicants waited for longer months than yours. Just keep yourselves busy and PRAY. I dont know what your religion is..but prayer is a universal communication with your God. Let her feel your love and affection. Everything will be fine..Goodluck!

We have not seen each other in 20 months, but by the grace of God we got our visa after a 2 year battle and soon we will be together. I remember how we never once got a touch, and were never notified we were approved by USCIS. After waiting almost 90 days, I found out we were approved using the RFE trick. Of course , this was our second go around in filing, so things were not really easier, but we had learned what to expect.

This process is not easy, but patience will be learned, and with patience comes strength, and with strength comes the ability to endure. And as Sara said, keep praying. We would have done lost our minds by now had it not been for prayer.

God Bless.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I can tell you from personal experience that this process is definetely not easy. My fiance had two interviews, he had to go through security checks 2 times, and we had to wait a total of 2 years, and 3 months before we got our Visa however i can tell you that i had alot of support on here, i prayed alot, and i never gave up. Yes i had my days where i wanted to go insane and just cry which i did many times but we never forgot why we started this process and you must always know that your love, and god will get you through this. I used to think that this was never going to end but believe me it does come to an end i know you wish it would be sooner rather than later but it will come to an end because everything that has a beginning always has an ending. Both of you stay strong for each other when one is weak the other needs to encourage the other becuase you need god, and each other to get through this, and you will hun don't worry you will see. I will pray for you both that you here some good news soon and that your love will be ok and had peace in her mind to be able to be strong. One day you will look back and remember these days and this will make your love stronger in the end. Just know that your day is coming for sure when you and your love will be together always. Hang in there and just try to keep her strong she needs you now (F) I wish you both all the best on your journey.

You're both in my prayers. God will see you through this. I know right now it must feel like eternity, but God will find the best moment for you both to be together, just be patient, never lose faith, and always be there for each other.

Best wishes,

Ayesha (F)

Sometimes I wonder if after reading our stories if anyone else would dare to love another person from another country again! LOL. But you know I believe love is also administered by God as is fate so this type of amazing long distance long continues to happen.

First of all, I knows of at least 1 person here who's case has not moved for over a year and its disheartening. For those who's cases HAVE gotten quick approvals, interview dates, etc, they get screwed in the end with security checks. I have bascially seen a FEW peoplw get out of this thing in less than 2 years.

I started my journey on december 2006. Already at 2 and half years and no visa. My husband has had his passport returned about calling to submit it, then put on a 2nd AP within the last 8 months. Goin on 9 months, sometimes I flat out lose ma mind!:wacko::blink::wacko::wacko:

I suggest you guys make some times to visit if this thing prolongs to 6 months if you have the money. After 2 visits, and rising oil prices=plane fares, I am not even thinking about a visit now.

I will pray for you guys, please tell her not to feel so horribly bad, your case will get moving soon and when it does it may finish quicker because I have seen a lot of cases sort of even out in time.

Tammy

AP: Over 1 year.

Visa: Nov 2

US Entry: Nov 13, Alhamdulillah.

I sent my I-130 back in September which was apparently the worst time to send it. I had to wait until January before I finally got a NOA1. The whole time I couldn't even know if they recieved the I-130. They just kept moving it around. First it was in Texas, then in California, then in the Chicago lock Box and finally in Vermont. Thankfully my NOA2 came a few weeks later, but waiting 4 months just to get the NOA1 was horrible. My husband and I have been married over a year now and we are still not together, but we know it will be soon and it will all be worth it. I wish you and your wife the best of luck in this process. Stay strong and patient. It will work itself out.

Married: May 28th, 2007

Arrived in the US: December 10th, 2008

Hi guys!!! we have the same situation in our case... But I learned to be patient enough coz we have no choice but to patiently wait.

Our case was sent Nov. 16 got NOA2 on same month. Touched Dec 21. Not until April first week we have touched but then it was for RFE. answering the RFE and waits like another 1month for the approval.

The Good Lord will give it to you guys in HIS TIME, in the RIGHT TIME!!! It will really come...

Good luck and God bless!!!!!!!!
