I'm awake, I'm awake. Diet, what diet! 4 donuts and a real coke later (along with an extra strength Midol) and I'm wired for sound! We will be moving in to the office today after I get off work. I got to drive the mustang to work (I love the mustang) so hubster could fill the cruiser with all the boxes of goodies for the shop. This is gonna be a lonnnng day I think. I'm enjoying the caturday pix. Keep'em coming! I'll have some of CatBob 2nite for his before and after shaving experience. Maybe Mrs. Ivory too ..we shall see.....

I'm at work for a whole 3 hours while hubby plays nurse at home. (he called in) The kids were running around the house last night and after telling them 100 times that someone is going to get hurt....my daughter came running up to me and said she "scratched" her ankle. I look and there is blood everywhere. Picked her up, took her to the sink to rinse off the area. A HUGE gash! I wrapped it up with a towel and wrapped packing tape around it. Got to the ER and they took us right back. Long story short.....she has staples in the back of her ankle, and part of her achilles tendon is cut. The doctor seemed to think that it will heal ok, but I'm taking her to a specialist on Monday. A few year ago when I broke my ankle I was told I had a hairline fracture in the ER and I ended up with pins and plates! Oh....and her dad decided to drop insurance on the kids last month! It's a mess. We finally got home around 11:30 and the house looks like a murder scene! Little gal is on crutches for a few weeks so this is going to be very interesting.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning Amy and Sara!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Good :energy: Morning ! Adam went to his first game of soccer downtown with some friends from church. He couldnt stop talking about it all last night  All is well here ... have work 2pm - 11pm... I hate those long hours at walmart! Saturday at walmart for 9 hours means all day trying to get more help up front, lines down, customers issues solved, enough buggies inside, breaks and lunches for the whole front end... im tired already just thinking about it ... im ready for 11:01pm right now! Edited by TamaraLovesAdam

Oh Amylu, I hope she feels better soon. Poor thing. How old is she?

Jackie

She's 7. She's really been a trooper so far and really hasn't complained at all about it too much. I know it HAS to hurt. I just talked to her and she has the husbster waiting on her hand and foot. Of course he doesn't mind at all. :star: I'm just really worried about that tendon. Of course there's no one to call on a Saturday, but come Monday I'm making some calls. I don't care if we have to pay out of pocket to have her looked at. Tendon injuries can be major and I don't want to mess with her ankle.

your daughter is learning young! Make the man wait on her whoohoo:)

Seriously, I hope she is ok. I think you are making a wise decision to take her to a specialist. (I hope you dont have to pay out of pocket though:( If I remember correctly from high school biology (so I'm admitting I'm not a doctor here so don't take my advice for the final say, LOL)....achilles tendon is the MAIN tendon that hooks the foot onto the leg. Something you don't want to mess with:( I do hope she is ok though!!

Today is my sisters grad party which inevitably means in oh about 2.5 hours all 100 of my relatives and friends will come pouring into my house, its goin to be interesting, we have spent 2 days cleaning, yardword, tents, tables, decorations, the whole bit...

on another note, the baby has had a significantly better past 2 days, he has not had long crying fits, and he is napping much more comfortably...im PRAYING that maybe he is not colic and was just very cranky from his ear infection and cough...he even managed to sit quietly for 3 hours by himself yesterday wide awake...i was impressed...

Kelly that baby is soooooooooo cute!! I want to pinch his cheeks!! masha Allah.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Our car broke down, so my dad and Akram are trying to find a mechanic who'll come check it, or at least get it started to take to the shop. Other than that, everything else is fine alhamdulillah.

Missing you all!
