Hi everyone,

I just wondered if anyone who has had their interview at Detroit could give me an idea of how long it took between filing AOS and your actual interview at Detroit. I filed at the end of July 2007 and I'm still waiting for my interview. I would really appreciate it if you could reply. I have checked the AOS processing time for Detroit and it says that they are processing cases as at mid June 2007 but I know some people have already got their green cards.

I have now got my Senator involved and apparently the I 485 supervisor has requested my file but it could weeks or months according to my attorney.

Many thanks in advance

Shona

we filed for our AOS on February 12th, 2008, we recieved the NOA February 19th and the biometrics a week later I think. We recieved an NOA for biometrics appointment on Feb 21st and went March 8th. We recieved an RFE a week later, and I had to resubmit my W-2's. We recieved our AP and EAD notices April 16th. On April 30th we recieved the NOA for AOS appointment that is also scheduled on June 12th.

I hope your senator or supervisor can help you...Good Luck!

shona,

Have you ever had an appointment to find out your status using Inforpass? Maybe try it.

Debby/drewjoy266,

Would you please give us your interview experience after the interview?

I filed AOS on April and probably will have an interview at Detroit if they do not want to transfer my case to CSC.

Your experiences are really appreciated.

Debby, Im interested also. I will be dealing with Detroit in the future. Thanks and my best wishes to you on the 12th!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Thanks for all you replies.

I haven't made an infopass appointment becasue my AOS is based on approval of I 360 VAWA. They wouldn't be able to give me any information due to confidentiality issues. The only way I can find thngs out is through a congress person or Senator and with the help of my attorney. I keep hoing and praying it will happen soon. I wanted to get back to England for August since it's my son's 21st birthday but can't travel back until I get my Green card. If not I hope I get back for Christmas.

Many thanks again
