Hey, just read on the AP that in addition to the unemployment rate spiking, the price of a barrel of oil is up again by $10, dollar is down even further, and the Dow Jones took another tumble.

So really, how do we as a nation bounce back? Seriously, how do we re-instill the world's confidence in the dollar? How do we boost our own economy? Sure, we can explore other resources for fuel, but that's going to take years and years...

i just feel like we can't take care of ourselves anymore...

good and interesting read, Skteamo... :reading: i hope that is the case.

but i'm left wondering if the oil industry is another monster, not so comparable to the housing industry... as international politics and corruption play a dirty hand in the whole equation. housing prices are way down... but does oil and gas ever really get cheaper once it's up so high?

and the dollar? will the dollar ever bounce back? these are also my questions.
