Man this is getting more then upsetting What's up with Delhi CO's are they being told to put a certain amount of cases into AP/AR as our interviewer did what I have seen being do to many people evidence of relationship proofs not even looked at. I know we will get through this Thanks to our wonderful Families and the strength of our love for each other and Excitement of our First Child. But, this whole thing is really ridicules Yes WE"RE MARRIED FOR GOD SAKE WE"RE having a baby what more proof do they need!!!!!!!!!!!

Any suggestions most appericated..... Its getting down to the wire for me in regards to hope that my wife can be here to deliver the baby... As I am sure there are going to be many Hoops to get the baby registered for birth abroad and then I don;t even know if you have to get a Indian visa for the baby just because the baby's an American citizen born in India.

pardon my anger right now but as a RN who worked in southern Cal I saw too many unmarried, non-english speaking illegals come and have thier babies (for free)and get to stay and then all us tax payers just to give them a check every month.....this is a crock of **** to keep families apart who do things legally.

best of luck to you, I hope you will be with your wife for the birth of your child

Hi Aman, I personaly am going thorugh the same thing. A couple of things I did, was:

1. Try getting the case expedited by getting in touch with NVC: email them. Let them know how far along the pregnancy is and the obstacles to travelling late in the pregnancy.

2. If you have an agent, have them do the same.

I did this, am NVC requested a letter from my wife's doctor. As soon as I got it to NVC, guess what....they had already sent my case to the embassy and we got a quick interview which is scheduled for the 20th of this month.

Can't say wether it'll be the same for a case from India but it's worth a shot.

Good Luck!!!

Are you a US citizen????

If you are and your wife is still there by the time she gives birth, then I think you can register the baby as a US citizen at the Enbassy there. Then it is only a matter of having a passport issued for the baby.

May as well prepare to do a CRBA at Delhi. Most airlines won't let her fly now anyway.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

I am a born u.s citizen paid taxes since I was 16 my first part time job till now 30. Never been on unemployment never needed government assistance lived 10 years at current House 15 years at our house before that. I already have been paying for my wifes health insurance since NOVEMBER she on my company insurance as my spouse won;t get the benefit of using it tough.... ahhh whatever I guess at this point its not a matter of good or bad rite or wrong.

I just want to be with my wife and if shes not able to be here by June 30 I will be there and whatever happens most importantly we'll be together for the birth of our baby and when the U.S embassy deems it for the rest our lives.......I say that because I know its not God keeping us apart God would never do that.

P.s good luck and god bless Indianheart. My wife and mom are both RN"s

Just need to vent see my inner truths on paper so to speak.

Been praying a lot lately as I am sure many of us are. But, yet why do I have so much inner anger and feel miserable all the time?

Sometimes I feel abandoned and all alone in this. But, I have come to realize that I usually feel like that when I think I have to fight this thing instead of working with it. Also, at these times I tend to forget that this is not just about me or another way of looking at it I am not alone in this. That when Gods' light shines on me.

I have heard a quote "Tidiness is next to Godliness" I say "Helpfulness is Godliness" as I see it God has given us all free will, when we use it to help each other that is when god is working through us. Most times the one doing the helping does not see it, but the one that is receiving nearly always does.

I pray today not for this to be over and done with, but pray that I may keep the memories of those who have helped us when we were down in my heart forever (sometimes just words written here directed to people I don;t even know people just trying to help one another).

As I said, I find myself praying for a quick resolution to this or any resolution fearing the worst! I have found this to be dangerous at least for myself, for when I am let down over and over sometimes I feel that God is letting me down and either I most not be good enough person or God doesn't want me to be happy.

Truth is I should pray to see how I can help those around me and pray to see how I can help CO's see what they need to. I should not look at it as defending the fact I love my wife, but proving it. In defending I am not producing anything more the anger and frustration which is usually reciprocated. If I try my best to work with them to find out what they may want from Us and as hard it is Wait and be patient when I am told to wait and be patient. Maybe, I will start to feel free of worry today?

Ahh that felt good................................. My love to all.

there is a lot of truth and wisdom in your words. I also beleive that by helping others we forget our misery. I also question what have I done to bring so much suffering to not only me but now to my husband. neither one of us had a good first half of life and since we met we have known what real happiness in a marriage is.

I pray for all of us stuck in this man made misery.
