When Filing out the ds-230 form, part one has the spouse info and then after that Father's Name and Mother's name. Father's and Mother's name of whom? Petitioner's or Beneficiary's? Confused about that.

General thumb rule for IR1/CR1 is:

All forms start with "I" are from USCIS and it is Petitioner's forms.

All forms start with "DS" are from DOS (Dept. of State) and it is the applicant's (beneficiary) forms.

DS230 form is visa application for the beneficiary, so ALL info is for beneficiary-applicant in this case.
