Is it possible that either of you have images from photobucket blocked? That could be one reason why you're not seeing anything.

Ohhh Shawna you guys looks cute. I tried on a dress with a back sort of like that (from what I can tell) for our Big Hoo-Ha next year. So pretty!

Nov 30 2007 - I enter US as a tourist to spend the ski season with my sweetie and figure out what we both want outta life - we plan on ending up in Canada, but...

Jan 30 2008 - We get married in Vegas! We decide to stay in the US.

Feb 08 2008 - File I-130, I-485, AP and EAD

Feb 11 2008 - Package arrives in Chicago

Feb 19 2008 - Receive NOA 1 for everything except I-485. NOA date Feb 15th

Feb 19 2008 - Touch I-130, AP, EAD

Feb 21 2008 - Receive I-485 NOA 1. NOA Date Feb 15th

Feb 22 2008 - Receive Biometrics notice, dated Feb 20th, for appointment March 11th

Feb 27 2008 - Walk in to Denver field office and have Biometrics taken early as the 11th March I'll be away

Apr 16 2008 - EAD card production ordered

Apr 16 2008 - AP approval sent

Apr 21 2008 - AP received in mail

Apr 21 2008 - EAD card production email received again - strange

Apr 24 2008 - EAD card approval notice sent email

Apr 26 2008 - EAD card received

May 03 2008 - Interview notice received -June 27th

May 22 2008 - Touch on I-485

June 09 2008 - I-130 finally shows up online and shows a touch that day, so does I-485

Jun 27 2008 - Interview - approved, stamped, received card production email. Ya-hoo!!!!

July 10 2008 - Card received

Total time from filing - approval: 4.5 months

MOVED TO SAN DIEGO!!

Lifting of Conditions

June 11 2010 - Package mailed

June 16 2010 - NOA date

July 2 2010 - Bio letter received - July 27th date

July 9 2010 - Early biometrics walk in San Marcos CA

Sept 16 2010 - Card production ordered

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

:ot: That's the thing I find hard right now, I cannot make any friends really because all my coworkers are all single woman that are pissed off about men....so they keep telling me my fairy tale won't last forever and my husband will sooner or later be bad....what the f ever... -_- What part they don't get in " I found my soulmate and changed country for him" ?   • 7/9/08 -- I-129f received at CSC
  • 7/24/08 -- NOA1 (finally!)
  • 12/2/08 -- NOA2 (WOOT!!!!)
  • 12/8/08 -- received at NVC
  • 12/22/08 -- packet 3 (with packet 4 attachment instead of checklist :P)
  • 12/29/08 -- packet 3 sent back with bits and pieces that I pulled together to make up a packet 3
  • 1/5/09 -- actual packet 3 received, but found out by via e-mail that they were satisfied with what I had already provided
  • 2/10/09 -- found out via call to DoS that my interview is scheduled!
  • 3/16/09 -- interview!!!! APROVED!!!
  • 4/7/09 -- MOVE!!!!!!!!
    Crossed at Detroit/Windsor Tunnel... pretty painless, about 45 minutes, inexperienced officer, asked for and received EA stamp
  • 4/13/09 -- Married in New Orleans!!!!!!!!
  • 5/30/09 -- Filed AOS/AP/EAD
  • 6/1/09 -- AOS etc received in Chicago

Here's our wedding cake :D

His grandma has been working in a bakery for most of her life, and she had promised a few years ago that she would never make a wedding cake again because it's too much work. But when he asked her about it she said yes. And honestly we thought she would make a regular rectangle cake with some decorations on it....So imagine our surprise when we saw that!!! And this is officially her last wedding cake, and she was happy to do it as our wedding gift. She is so sweet. She is 78 yo.

Pretty cake and I love the frosting all over your faces! :whistle: lol When my husband and I got married, we did it at the justice of the peace in Colorado and then went to village inn with my family... so we didn't technically have a "wedding cake"... but after seeing all the wedding pics here on VJ, I am really wanting to have another ceremony when all the immigration stuff is done up in either Quebec or Niagra Falls so that his family can attend.

I have a question for you. Do you know or like Noir Silence? There is a song on their Piege album after "Naissance". I kinda like the song, but I was just wondering if you had ever heard it. Have you?

Thanks Tracy and Cassie!! I am still in love with my pictures and with my photographer...they were sooo great. A tad on the expensive side, but they have since doubled their price so I figure I lucked out!!
