we just had a family friend do our pictures for us and he wasn't that great at setting up the shots.. or he might have told us to move so that darn wheel barrow wouldn't have been in the picture

I think it is a gorgeous pic ... even with the wheel barrel, I didn't even see it until you mentioned it. I was thinking, "wow" what a beautiful background. Is that real outside or a backdrop? It was really out there... very cool!

This looks like you had a beautiful wedding and I love how you released butterflies! That is so awesome! I love the symbolism in it. After all we have to go through to get our loved one into the country... the symbolism of the butterflies seems so apprepo!

I know it may seem strange, but I love the kiss pictures. Have you ever realized how in most of the ones you find in this forum, everyone is so deeply in love and into eachother? I mean yea, most weddings have passion, but there just seems to be something different. I don't know if part of my awareness of it is because I know how hard it is to be separated from the one you love while we have to wait for paperwork to go through and how much I long to just see him. I don't know if this makes sense, but you can tell how much you love eachother and that is awesome!

Aww!!! Beautiful! :) So are either of you from Quebec then? Which part? My hubby and his family live in Quebec. It is beautiful there. I was amazed at all the water! (I am from Colorado)

We had a backyard wedding in a landscaped garden that Gene and I created. I was so lucky to have my kids there that day.

This is beautiful and I love how you said, "We had a backyard wedding in a landscaped garden that Gene and I created!" That is so true in many more ways than one. One of my husband's favorite quotes is "Love is like a garden and how it grows depends on how much time you spend in it." So yeah... that is awesome!

Here we are with our cake...we got married the day after my birthday and I wanted to have a fun wedding/b-day party....that is why you see a teletubby cake.

So cool seeing everyone's photos! I am planning our "Big Hoo-Ha Wedding" right now so it is fun to see what you all did.

Here we are at our Vegas drive-thru escapade. So classy. So...not very sober. But fun!

It looks like fun! I got married at the justice of the peace in March of 2007 and after all the immigration paperwork goes through and I have the baby and lose some weight, I am planning on another ceremony with my husband's family in Canada. I live in Colorado also. It is so much fun to look through everyone's weddings. Each one so special in their own ways!

yeah, it was outside.. I always wanted a May wedding with all the flowers in bloom but that didn't work out.. we got married in March so there wasn't a lot of colour in the way of flowers etc.....

i have another pic that we took on that bridge that I really like.. I had just leaned over to give my hubby a kiss on the cheek like I usually do and everyone is like, hold that pose ...lol so I had to stand there for a few minutes with my lips on his cheek....lol

:ot: That's the thing I find hard right now, I cannot make any friends really because all my coworkers are all single woman that are pissed off about men....so they keep telling me my fairy tale won't last forever and my husband will sooner or later be bad....what the f ever... -_- What part they don't get in " I found my soulmate and changed country for him" ? You guys are the only people that really understand me right now ! :ot2:

I understand. This isn't my first marriage so not only do I get the "men suck" thing sometimes but also the "haven't you been this route before" question about getting married again. I figure the people who would be crass enough to say this don't deserve my reactions.

So cool seeing everyone's photos! I am planning our "Big Hoo-Ha Wedding" right now so it is fun to see what you all did.
