Interview for AOS approval

Hello VJ family, I'd like to know if AOS can be approved without USCIS interview? I learnt that USCIS will conduct another interview with both spouse on a K1 visa before the AOS can then be approved. I don't know how true though!!!

Hi Missy,

Majority of the AOS applications by K-1 visa have been approved without local uscis interview. However, when you file I-751 after 21 months of receiving conditional green card USCIS will schedule an interview prior to granting your 10 year green card. Congratulations on AOS approval.

My husband got his GC without an interview and it was transfered to California. Anyone else that I know of that was transfered to California, were approved without interview.
