Visa mailed to hotel address?

Hey guys, do you think is possible that I can request my consulate to mail my visa to the hotel address I'll be staying in? And if so, using a fast express mail of my choice I could receive it in 48 hours?? If that is possible I'll stay in Rio with my husband till I get my visa and will be able to travel to the States along with my husband.

Has anyone done this way? Thanks for your advice.

impossible, just pick up your visa. it only take two woking days.

I'd rather do that but I was asking this because I was informed here that I'm not allowed to pick up the visa at the consulate.

Right, you can't pick it up. I am pretty sure that they will mail it anywhere you want them to though. I believe you fill out the SEDEX envelope yourself and then they will mail out the passport once your visa is ready to go!
