So who will be watching?

I'm still sour over the Suns...mainly the organization that missed the opportunity to get Pau Gasol and instead traded Sean Marion for Shaq...then p!ssed off the coach enough for him to look for work elsewhere.

I'm happy for the Laker's amazing season and blockbuster aquisition (Pau Gasol), but I have a hard time rooting for them. I'd rather see Kevin Garnett get his first championship ring than watch Kobe win.

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

I doesn't seem to have the charisma that a Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson had.

True, but it is still TBD how great of a player and more importantly, how great of a leader Kobe can become. He used to be more arrogant or at least was portrayed as such, but I have a new respect for him since last summer when he put down his ego to lead the US squad to victory. I look forward to seeing them do it again this summer at the Olympics.

Keep in mind that as the greatest player that Jordan was, he was also pretty cocky, maybe he deserved to be with his 6 titles...
