i really want to understand this

i did my interview on 10 march,2008

and in this interview my fingerprint wasnt requied and the consul had my passport and one week ago the embassy called for me to make fingerprint and all this time i get message sayis its pending final review

and i thought its ok

but i got that my wife get email says pending administrative processing

once i havent had administrative processing in my interview

so is it mean my case additional administrative processing or what does it mean?

im going to be waiting for more 3 months and they still have my passport in all this time

so can anyone help me and reply for me

i realy anxious to hear about ur opinion

and i would be really really grateful for every one will reply

plus what i wrote i got that my wife says she called for dos

and they told her my case is pending for check clearance

so any one can tell me will it take long even the embassy hold my passport

It will take as long as it takes and they will hold your passort until they are finished. No estimates are available but you could request your passport back if you need it.

I do not know why they did not take the fingerprints at the interview, they usually do. But I would say, the sooner you get the fingerprints done, the sooner you will be through the embassy.

which embassy she went for her interview? just curious here
