Ours was the chirping of birds and wind blowing at the Rose Garden :)

But my wife and I love the song "I just fall in love again" by Anne Murray.

Wow this topic is bringing back such bitter sweet memories. My husband found a Celine Dion song that I had never heard before. After he was denied his visa I could hear him listen to this song over and over again on my headset. He listened and sobbed. God now I am tearing up too!

There are so many....

Theme Songs: Stir It Up (Bob Marley) and Alles Aus Liebe (Die Toten Hosen) -- but only because it's the first song he ever sent me. Not the meaning!

Wedding songs: At Last (Etta James) and Better Together (Jack Johnson)

Although we're having a medieval wedding so the songs at the actual wedding and reception will be lute/harp/minstrels. These are going on a CD we're making for our guests at the polterabend before the wedding. We're including the special songs of his parents, aunt/uncle, and our married friends with their names and the years they've been together.

a medieval wedding sounds completely gorgeous. what a fun idea!

we played 'in the mood' and 'moonlight serenade' by glenn miller, along with some other big band songs. a couple days before we got married my grandma had told me that she had played glenn miller at her wedding 65 years before, so i just decided to copy her. she's always had good taste, so i knew i couldn't go wrong there.

That is so sweet! May your marriage last at least 65 years :)

And the medieval thing is going to be awesome and completely stress free. The medieval village will do everything and for much less than if we'd done a traditional catered deal.

jundp - The Medieval theme wedding will be so cool, please take lots of pictures. I always loved that and also the southern thing as in a Gone with the Wind theme, both to me are so romantic.

I will GG. We're getting married here: www.camlann.org

But we aren't doing fancy so don't be disappointed :) Though P did just get his custom made leather medieval shoes from a guy in Ulm, Germany last week. I think he's more excited about not wearing a suit!
