After reading more i feel u are ok doing normal time checks...but yes Casa is very corrupt...and the blonde is the worst...they make all these decisions that are not theirs to make....on the looks, age whatever but of course they are not going to write this down as reasons...they play with to many people life here. If this is doing there job funny how they give visas to guys that have broken up with the girls here and let them come on over , this is really doing a good job to check!!!!! Then you let someone go there did all papers right, tell nothing but truth BUT they feel to say no (they prob come right out and ask about the question of having kids) they have been known to ask many questions that should be held private

OMG! This consulate is crazy! 11 years isnt even a big age difference. And why is it that people think its so odd that the woman is older than the man....HELLO...women look good...men are attracted to that.....what does the age matter. And geesh...all in your business about having children or not...what in the world does this have to do with immigration?! I thought the CO was supposed to interview to make sure all work is in order. Why does the system let you get all the way thru name checks security checks financial checks only to have some random CO who has had you file for all of 5 minutes to deny you?!! This system is a load of ####### sometimes. I know they are doing their job,,blah blah blah...but what the hell was USCIS and NVC doing in all that time prior. Why does the CO get to change your fate by just looking at you and thinking to themselves..."hmmm...this guy and this lady don't look like they 'match', let me deny them, or make them wait another 2 months of BS time and see if they come back"...I want to start yelling discrimination and prejudice cause this is obviously a case of judging a book by its cover not by the content of whats inside. I'm just so fed up with people and THEIR idealogy of what is acceptable.

UGH!!!

hey! you are my kind of friend we are on the same page! we should go to lunch hah and discuss the blondie and ways to make her change her vocation right! Sounds like a plan, You would be a good friend to have around! later, Diana

Unfortunately, Casablanca IS a high fraud consulate and there are many many cases of younger men marrying older women for the green card and to get out of Morocco. It happens. So they really ARE just doing their jobs there, although some with a more bitter attitude than others (like Blondie). Of course there are some legitimate couples that get messed up by it and there are some scammers that make it through. But the point is, Casa seems to have sadly earned its reputation for fraud and couples going through there need to be aware of this and realize its going to impact their case. Situations like age differences and future children really do raise questions and will probably be scrutinized at interview time. everyone dealing with this consulate needs to do like the boy scouts and be prepared !

I hate to be nosy, but how did the CO know that you are unable to have children? How would she know about your medical records?

The CO asked Adil you plan to have children? he says I (me) had surgery and cannot have children, why does she ask this question, it is my private life and he thought so too! Many times in that 40 min of interview he had to hold back and not say what he was thinking cause she was so rude but I am amazed he did, ( he is an awful quiet kind of guy and cannot believe that CO got him riled up.) He said he was gonna say some bad words to her but thought of how long we waited for that interview. I guess she was weeding out the fake marriages eh? Well she got a real one and hope she sticks that in her hat! It will be 7 days of waiting this Wednesday the 11th, wonder how much longer for that phone call from the consulate!! Thanks for taking the time to chit chat, Diana

My heart sinks everytime I read posts about my husband's consulate.... I love the people of morocco but can't tolerate the politics there. even in our own consulate. When we got married it was a nightmare of corruption and only was able to become married was we knew a judge who knew a judge who knew the first judge that said no.l.... you get my point?? Anyway, I feel sick when I read these... But Insha'allah it'll all end with a happy ending???

UGH!!!

I couldnt have worded it better Marlita. I have yet to figure how USCIS and NVC put our I-129F and I130 thru in less than 2 months to have one person contest our marriage. I am 10 years older than my husband and i look damn good for my age. Yes I had my tubes tied but if my husband wanted a child we would find a way. How dare one woman decide we dont fit. We have been in AP over a year. I have numerous people fighting for us. What couple would stay together this long if not in love? The interviewer actually asked my husband what is the color of the roof on my house. WTH?? He has NEVER been to the US and even my 13 year old couldnt answer that after living in this house his whole life. Something needs to be done with this whole system.

I know it's a bit late to reply on this topic and hope everything went ok for you. I noticed that he gave her a more detailed answer that he should have done. With those COs especially in casablanca, u should answer yes/no as much as u can, cause they're very picky and the blonde one is a 'crazy' case by her own, her lips even smiling are lie evil-smile

I was in the consulate for some 'business' with them and I saw how they treat people especially the ones who cannot/barely speak english. the translators they're using (consulate employees) are not doing their jobs, they were misleading the COs about the applicants' answers. They make you want to scream of frustration :bonk:

good luck

Hello, today was a bad day for my husband at K3 interview and me here in Michigan, We had everything that was asked for in an interview, the big day was finally here, I was so full of excite ment and anticipation then a bomb fell on our day. My husband sat for 5 hours he was the last one called. But let me back up...he sat up front and watched all people get a denial none not one person turned in their passport for any visa! The woman before him was a Moroccan woman (who was a US citizen for 23 yrs) with her older non english speaking mother to get a visitor visa for her Mom. The blonde CO denied her the visa too! The daughter screamed at the CO *why can't Mom go with me today she went and was approved for visa 4 times already in 8 years , why not this time? *this is Bulls--t and f--- you and s---t on that visa and grabbed her Mom who almost fainted out the door! then they called Adils name, the last one and he knew in his heart he was not getting a visa from that blonde CO. She asked him about 60 questions, (this interview took 40 minutes) since I am 11 trs older than him and *fixed ....cannot have children--she asked him, you know you cannot have children with her right( what a nosy woman) she asked about my maiden name (he told her it was Polish) asked about my ex and my dead husband, then she looked at ALL emails and wedding dinner pics, my phone bills, commented to him on my age and I look way younger, was smiling at him and handed him the 221g white paper, took his cell phone number and said he will be called in 3 weeks to 2 months, do I need to write my Senator in Michigan or something? Are they just gonna send his fingerprints to Washington DC or something, do I need to write consulate? help, !!! its been 13 months marriage to this big day that was crushed! Thank you if anyone can respond.....sad me Diana

How on earth did the consulate know you were "fixed". ??????????????????? I missed that question in the I-129f/G325a entirely, I'm surprised I didn't get an RFE for that.

This is a problem in some consulates with some cultures. It is freaky strange in some countries for a man to marry a foreign (American) woman, it is strange for a man to marry a woman older than him and it is strange to marry a woman that cannot have children (I still don't know how they knew that) and it is so many waving red flags it takes a lot to overcome it. You still have to prove, even though you are married, that the marriage/visa is not intended to circumvent immigration laws.

We are at their mercy. Like it or not it's just the way it is.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

UGH!!!

What you may not understand is that in some cultures it is very unusual for a woman to marry a man younger than her. It is not a matter of judgement, or right or wrong. It just is. In Ukraine a man is considered "ideal" to be 10 years older. Most women would not consider marrying a man less than 5 years older than her...15-25 years older is perfectly acceptable. A man shorter in height than her is unacceptable, etc. A woman in Ukraine WANTS to have children. If a 25 year old woman from Ukraine was marrying a 40 year old man from America it would be perfectly normal and typical of what they see every day, and acceptable within the Ukraine culture. This woman would be doing exactly the same thing she would do if marrying a man from Ukraine. How many Morrocan men marry Morrocan women 11 years older than them, of a different religion, that cannot have children?

The consulate is not making a "judgement" about the couple's age difference. It is a high fraud consulate. This man (the OPs husband) is going against a number of cultural and religious taboos from his culture to marry this woman who is a foreigner, maybe not Muslim (She didn't say) unable to have children AND younger than him. That is a LOT of waving red flags in that culture from that place. It may not be a problem in Canada/UK/Jamaica, but in Morroco it is super freaky wierd! Not because the CO says so, but because Morrocan culture and tradition say so.

This person also has to determine if the visa is within the guides or is the visa sought to circumvent immigration laws? They OP and her husband are really down in the count before arriving at the consulate and have an uphil battle to convince.
