I teach and teachers work a lot of hours...and not always in the classroom or school building. Most times we bring home work we don't have time to do at school. I chose 41+ hours.

Boy, I know what you mean...On the clock, I work about 43 hours per week (day school and night school). But add a couple of hours a day for planning and grading, even on the weekends!!!

Same here. I guess we are "scheduled" for about 38.75 hours a week, but with grading papers, creating tests, planning, shopping, etc. adds up to a lot more, and over weekends for me too.

I also work at night a couple days a week, teaching ESOL to adults, so I voted 41+.

Now that it's the summer I'm teaching adults basically full time - 30 hours a week. I like the job, the pay is not bad, and hubby gets a good discount.
