Americans : How many hours do you work a week?

I am just curious to see how many hours a week my fellow Americans work to make a living here. If you work more than 41 hours a week, please give the typical amount of hours you work.

I work anywhere from 40-45 hours a week.

In any given two-week pay period, I always work at least 81 and usually less than 85 hours. Usually nearly all the hours over 40 are in the same week, that's the way it tends to go for me. I also tend to work through my lunch and sometimes come in early, but rarely have to stay late.

My old job was 35 hours a week, and we got comp time (at time and a half!) for working more. Ah, those were the days! (Of course, they also paid me a lot less and the commute was a lot longer.)

My husband works 25 hours a week, but that was a choice we made, for him to find something less than full time.

i voted for my husband. he is a nurse and he has terrible work scheds. sometimes he works 60 hrs a week but most of the time 40 but i am happy because he still find time to chat and talk to me everyday . i don't want him to work too much tho.
