I woke up to a reply from the Embassy. They received the lease and "will process your case shortly." The latter part of the statement is utterly meaningless as we all know well, but at least I know they have the papers and that's all I wanted.

Last night was... horrible. I didn't say much at all to him, just that maybe it would be a good idea to see if TNT would trace it and he just exploded. I know him well. It's all his pent up frustration and helplessness, same thing that sent me into my tailspin yesterday. So after 5 hours on the internet of purging ourselves, some of it no so constructively, we kissed and parted loving each other more but I feel sick and drained. I know we will come out so much stronger for this. We always have. It's just getting over this "hump" emotionally and putting it all behind us that is going to make today a shakey one.

Now I make a promise to the VJers. No more woe and drama from me. Some people have shared wonderful news here since yesterday and my prayers and blessings and congratulations goes out to every single person here. I also remain extremely grateful for the support you gave me yesterday. This process has shown me things about myself I never saw before and they aren't all good, but I know what I can see I can change.

I love you guys, each and everyone, and I hope you all have a wonderful day.

I'm still waiting for the embassy to call. I even emailed the DOS asking about the status of the security checks, but still no answer.

So here I am, sitting at my desk at work, waiting for that *$*$ù= call

Wow wow and holy cow... An email from the Embassy waiting at my work too. They acknowledged my change of address and put it in our case file.

Now how pathetic is it when you get all excited about a change of address being acknowledged? I need a mental vacation...

This should perk Mohammed up. He brought his guitar last night and just never could muster the heart to play for me. That guitar is like part of his soul so it frightened me to see him so low.

Anyway, God must of heard the prayers...

Good Morning my buddies !

Just a normal day for Massouna. Work & homework. See my life is so boring I shouldnt even participate in these threads. Well its not boring to me but it's just the same thing everyday.

I remember "back in the day" when we waited 7 months for Ali to get an interview date. I wasted soooooo much time waiting for the mail. The mailman reallllly got to know me. She would say "Honey, I dont see anything for your husbands case. I'm so sorry I wish I can drive myself to NVC and go get them". It was pretty pathetic. Then in the end, the didnt even send them to my house ! They sent them to him Which is better then me having to send them to him.

So all of you waiting for something/anything continue on with your patience and it will eventually happen. Who knows when, but if I could get through it you can to. Good luck guys !

Another day! It's sooooo flipping hot here and I am uncomfortable almost every minute of the day. I'm hot blooded by nature so this has just added to my natural thermostat. Amr says we are going to look for another flat with air condition because........................I found out yesterday I'm pregnant! So now I REALLY want that visa so we can go home. Thank God a friend of mine I actually met on VJ, her man's sisters is an OB/GYN and he called her and she will do all my prenatal care till Amr receives his visa. Where the heck has Amy been anyway? Anyone heard from her?

Thank you, Lynne. NOW DON'T YOU MAKE ME CRY AGAIN!!! Lol. You know, its amazing to me to watch how the mind works under extreme stress. Yesterday when the woman said it could take up to one year all my hope went *poof* before I could even catch it with logic. Now this morning the Embassy says "we will process the case shortly," and I feel all warm and fuzzy. It's stupid. I'm laughing at myself. I know that blanket statement very well now. I can even translate it for you... "Dear Madam, PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF GOD STOP EMAILING US NOW AND GO AWAY!!!" But I'll buy it. Even if I know it's twaddle. There is a lot to be said for "ignorance is bliss". I am going to crawl back into ignorance and leave the rest to god.

I'm having a lovey easy day at work so far. I needed it. So you guys are stuck with my blah blah today. Ha ha.
