Hey Loto

I was looking through your pre NVC steps and have one question. DS-230 Immigrant Visa Package documents for the Beneficiary: Do I have to get those papers signed by my husband and along with his pictures send to me and then I send to NVC? Is that how that works or NVC will automatically sent him the papers DS230??

Let me know. Thanks

Reehon, Let your husband complete Part 1 (Sign needed here) and Part 2 of DS-230 (Caution: Do not sign on Part2 last page) along with 2 passport size pictures and all other original or certified copies of his civil documents such as his birth certificate, your marriage certificate, his police records etc. A photocopy of his passport's biographic page is also needed. Make it reached you when your NVC case# is assigned.

Then you will Express Mail (USPS) them to NVC with additional docs such as barcode sheet, cover letter etc.

Hope this helps out

He will sign part 2 at his interview. Only sign at the bottom of part 1.

If you want a fast, smooth process, then ask for the documents now. If you're ready, you can send everything as soon as your bill is paid (if you pay online, you can just print the cover sheet--it includes the barcode). if you pay by snail mail (a check or money order) then you have to wait for them to send you the cover sheet and they'll send it to your husband.

Yes, all the docs must be originals, except for the passport copy. You are also supposed to send a copy of all the original documents as well. At your interview, they will return the originals and keep the copies.

PCC is valid for 1 year. That means, it is valid for an year between the issue date and the Consulate Interview date.

Beneficiary should not put the date on DS-230 Part1. When you actually mail it to NVC, you can enter the date.

Approval from USCIS can happen at any time, good luck

It is highly recommended to collect all the NVC documents right now. Only PCC has 1 year validity issue. Rest all civil documents will be fine :star: (since they don't have expiry date :star::star::star: )

During the process with NVC, if i have more questions then i will definitely ask you again.

Tahnk you so much for making me understanding this process.

Just pray that I get my approval soon.

Thank you

Reehon

Approval from USCIS can happen at any time, good luck

It is highly recommended to collect all the NVC documents right now. Only PCC has 1 year validity issue. Rest all civil documents will be fine :star: (since they don't have expiry date :star::star::star: )

Just to clarify, Do I have send ORIGINALS along with their copies to NVC when they required?

ALso, doesnt my husband need these originals at the time of the interview???

Plzzz

Thanks

Originals and a set of copy have to be mailed to NVC. At interview, your husband will get originals back. Also, make one copy of the originals and bring those to the consulate at the time of interview.
