Getting nervous, are we? :P

Not at all. Obama hasn't a chance.

I think that is an absolute statement that flies in the face of reality Gary. McCain has a fair share of serious obstacles to overcome before he gets ordained and gets to waltz in to the White House. I think you know the examples well enough they do not need to be repeated here.

What most people fail to think about is that historical data shows that when it comes to electing a president, most of the voters are older, white, republican people. Very few minorities and young people come out to the urns to vote and I saw this first hand during the last election. So, if they want Obama to beat McCain, they need to put down their Happy Meals, skip nap time, skate all the way to the voting polls and vote, vote, vote. If this doesn't happen, McCain will easily beat Obama in November.

And I CANNOT WAIT to watch him fail. Only way he stands a chance is with her.

Dev, do you really wanna see Hillary playing the lap dog of Barack?

No. It would be the only way I would even consider voting for him though. And even then I need to think it over.

What Obama And Clinton Underestimate

Getty

Obama underestimates:

1. The intensely loyal feelings many of Clinton’s supporters have about her – and the intensely negative feelings they have about him.

2. That any delay in choosing a running mate will only bring rampant speculation about whether he is going to pick Clinton – and if not, why not – speculation so extreme it might warp and dominate the entire process (and potentially create reams of critical and distracting press for his eventual Veep selection).

3. How sensitive the Clintons are to perceived slights – what Obama sees as gracious and sufficient they sometimes see as condescending and chilly.

4. The level of scrutiny that he is about to get—the national press corps may instinctively love his story, but general election coverage automatically will be at least twice as concentrated. :dancing:

5. How much the McCain high command disdains him.

6. How much the Republican Party has been preparing for this moment—and for the general. And just how potent that effort can be–indifferent as it will be to charm, change, and charisma.

7. How much sober attention will be focused on the ramifications of the November election and the burdens of the next President: the fuss and fanfare about the epic Clinton-Obama battle will seem on some levels utterly frivolous in comparison.

And I CANNOT WAIT to watch him fail. Only way he stands a chance is with her.

Is watching him fail worth 4 years of McSame?

Better than 4 years of God knows what? You betcha.

And I CANNOT WAIT to watch him fail. Only way he stands a chance is with her.

If that's not bitter defeatism, I don't know what it is.

I beleive your statement is a bit bitter isnt it? Calling someone bitter through bitterness. Unity? So typical!

;)

Nah,it's the elitism - taken from his Messiah!

I was watching an interview they did with Obama and they asked him about his eating and exercising habits, he said he likes to eath three healthy meals a day and how he likes to work out. You could tell he was trying to sound like a fit guy and all that. Too bad they didn't bring up his smoking habits. What's the point of eating healthy and working out daily if you're filling up your lungs with smoke and nicotine?

But anyway...
