Hey fellows!

I am experiencing a tough situation and was wondering if any one could advise.

I was unemployed for the past 2 months but with a pay. The pay stubs do state unemployed.

Now i am rehired with the company starting yesterday and i requested a proof of employment letter but unfortunately the company is experiencing technical difficulties and can see me in the system. I honestly dont know how long it will take for them to resolve this issue. they are making me run back and forth with no positive answer or hope to get the letter soon. It already has been two weeks since i need to send the affidavit of support.

What should i do and how to send the affidavit of support. please advise

You have to file form I-864.On some of those questions(sorry dont remember what # was it) is asking how much you are making now, your current income, you have to put amount of your annual income, and also you have to send your most recent taxes, it is optional to send a letter from your company stating your annual income and paystubs.

Even though it is optional to send a letter from your current employer along with pay stubs, it certainly is very helpful. I would wait a little bit longer until your company updates their system and can give you a letter of employment. It doesn't hurt to wait a little.
