The turnout at the rally was just about as much news as the event itself. The xcel energy center was full, with about 20,000 people. More were outside watching on big screens. We got there 2 hours before the doors opened and ended up about half a mile back in the line. The total line from what I understand was about 1-2 miles long.

I'll post some pictures/videos later when i go through them. Its hard to get good pictures in the high seats.

Do ya get the feeling some McCain/Fred/Huckabee/insert non-Democratic party name here/ supporters on this board are getting a bit agitated??? Judging by this evening's posts..I kinda do!

I said it in another thread: Based on what I heard tonight from both candidates, the party will come together and Obama will be unstoppable. McSame would have to pull off a miracle of some sort to claim the Presidency in November. Coincidentally, he is trailing Obama in the polls now.

You sound like a kid on Christmas eve. To bad your going to get coal in your stocking. Obama hasn't a chance.

Well, Gary, at the risk of sounding like a broken record: You've been wrong on the democratic nomination and you'll be wrong on the general. I mean, look at McCain. He's less inspiring than Gore or Kerry. Hell, he's less inspiring than the bologna sandwich I had for lunch...

The essential difference between Obama and McCain is this: Obama is making history. McCain is history. ;)

Oh you babe in the woods. You have no idea whats coming. Obama's leftist record and his continual relationships with radicals will not play with America at large. Your judging the outcome by the primaries. The general election is way different. Your going to be in for a real shock soon. Not everyone in America is a far lefty like you. You will see that soon.

You keep telling yourself that. The more you do, the more you'll believe it. But as in the case with any and all of your primary predictions thus far, you'll wake up finding yourself in a world that's different than the one you imagined. ;)

I watched the speech for a while. Funny how he had to read off a piece of paper on where is grandma was and who to thank.
