Quick question regarding NVC automated messages and IV Bill...

Question -----

I called the NVC this morning to see if my I-864 was entered into the system and I got a message saying that there was missing documentation, blah blah. I immediately called the NVC to find out what the heck they were talking about. They said my I-864 was put into the system with no problems, but the letter is supposedly regarding the fact that the IV bill hadn't been paid. Anyone else experience this where an automated message is telling you documentation is missing when they really mean the IV Bill hasn't been paid??? I know for a fact that my I-864 packet was complete and the NVC operator verified that for me saying it was entered into the system already. I did, however, pay the IV just a few moments ago though.

Its just a false RFE, everyone gets them. its basically saying it hasn't received payment yet and its missing. Just pay them and it will move on to false RFE that the DS230 is missing. You're fine.

it normal. you just pay iv bill.

concentrate your time on ds230.

again you will heard another false rfe about missing info.

just call and talk to live person when your ds230 generate then send them in. the system will delay u for about 3 weeks if you get the false rfe. make sure speak to live person each time you call. they provide more accurate info

That's correct. It's $400 and after payment, you receive the DS-230 packet. Or you can just read Loto's NVC flowchart and gather the documentation now and print the coversheet for the DS-230 online. :thumbs:
