Same here I stick to the AOS threads because thats what im in the process of doing!! I really don't post all over.....just felt like hitting the OFF POST for once!!

no turning back now. its over. its done. treatment & methadone won't even help you now. it only takes 1 hit of the OT & you're here everyday like the rest of us. its a vicious cycle.....oh well welcome to the rest of your life.

:lol::thumbs:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

The 12 Steps of VJA (Visa Journey Anonymous)

* Step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over our addiction (VJ) - that our lives had become unmanageable.

* Step 2 - Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves (USCIS) could restore us to sanity.

* Step 3 - Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of USCIS.

* Step 4 - Had a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves taken by fellow VJers.

* Step 5 - Admitted to USCIS, to ourselves, to VJ and to our Spouse the exact nature of our wrongs.

* Step 6 - Were entirely ready to have USCIS remove all these defects of character.

* Step 7 - Humbly asked USCIS to remove our shortcomings.

* Step 8 - Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

* Step 9 - Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, especially when to do so would injure them or others.

* Step 10 - Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly posted it.

* Step 11 - Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with USCIS , praying only for knowledge of their will for us and the power to carry that out.

* Step 12 - Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other VJers, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

i just had my 4th anniversary of being on Vj the other day....

Mine is also coming up.

I post here a lot when there is a lull in my workload. I like my job a lot, but it is a feast or famine deal. So, you will see me more apparent on the days I don't have a lot to do. Probably more boredom than an addiction, but I have met some nice people on here and learned a lot and the visa journey still isn't over yet. Next is naturalization. Two years from Thursday, he is eligible to file. :bonk:
