My fourth wedding anniverary is coming up in August. I decided to look up what your fourth wedding anniversary was supposed to be because I had no idea and was bored. Apparently, it is supposed be themed around flowers and fruit. That should be easy enough. Our flower is the sunflower. Normally I don't care for flowers, but sunflowers are special. About a week after my husband and I met, we went to Wacken Open Air. On the way back, we got stuck in a lot of traffic. Growing in the median emergency lane was a cute sunflower about 2.5 feet high. My husband jumped out of the car and got it for me. Our car full of metalheads all wanted to throw up, but of course, we both thought it was so swwweeeett and romantic.

What is everyone else's next wedding anniversary supposed to be? If you have no clue, look at this site:

Does anyone really follow the traditional anniv gifts by year?

I always thought that was more for others who want to give something to the couple, not for the couple to exchange gifts amongst themselves. But maybe I'm wrong.

It will be our 4th anniversary later this month as well! In fact, our wedding anniversary is on the same day of month that our K-1 application was received by USCIS way back in 2003:-) - as well as the day before my birthday. hehehe, if the same scenario applies for birthday gifts I should get something with Gold and leather together. Now that boggles the creative mind!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
