England are not in it. Therefore the competition is irrelevant.

We should have played better... Although my heart will not be in the proceeding as they are not there... Hopefully we will learn from our mistakes and qualify for the world cup in 2010

I hope so too. I'm sure they'll get it together for the World Cup, assuming that John Terry has stopped weeping. ;)

Precisely.

As for John Terry, he's well hard!!!!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Soccer, who cares what a boring sport to watch or follow, how dull. All they do is sit around and chant and sing and get drunk or stoned at games then start stabbing and shooting or beating each other up in the stands.

Are you watching the Germany game, Eveline?

It's weird not to see Ollie Kahn playing.

Yes, I'm watching...are you watching or graduating?

Lehmann is actually pretty good. He kinda convinced me last year when he held so many Elfmeter. (don't remember who they played but it was nervwrecking).

I'm watching. I have to leave in about 40 minutes for graduation.

I'm impressed by Lehmann too.

I was wondering, do players have to be citizens to play on the European National teams?

Yes indeed! Croatia looked a little wobbly, though. Austria was looking strong, especially toward the end.

It was fun to see all the Croatia fans in their chessboard shirts, although it made me a little dizzy.

Not nearly as exciting as full-contact trolling...

As far as I know they have to be German citizens. Poldi was born in Poland but is German, same goes for Klose (I think he's czech or so???) and Gomez's dad is spanish.
