Clinton will concede tonight

Ickes has been on cable news in the last hour saying Obama won't be the nominee, they are going to Denver.
Yep, but you better call Ickes and tell him Dog says its over.

There are dozens of Democrats with votes that will tell him. Loud and clear. There's no support in the party for a convention fight. Hillary risks her political career if she listens to Ickes. She knows that and she won't. Prominent backers of Hillary have already stepped forward to say that they want a nominee this week. Hillary said last week that a nominee will be decided this week. As much as you wish, this isn't going to Denver. But go ahead and fantasize with ole' Harold on this nonsense.

Keep telling yourself this Dog. You have been disputing what I have been saying for months and for months I have been right every time. Keep hanging on that hope, it's all you have.

How have you been right? You said this is dragging into August and into the convention and I said it'll be done prior. At the end of the week is my latest prediction - I said at the end of June before that. Until either prediction point arrives, it's a bit premature to make the statement you make. So, if at the end of the week, Obama is not the nominee, then you can say that I got it wrong. Until then, you have nothing of fact to base that assessment on.

Ok, Dog. Keep up the hope. Go for it.

I believe Dog is right on this one, Clinton will suspend her campaign by the end of the week. I am pretty sure she will not do it tonight though.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

The primaries are over. The campaign will be suspended. However, Hillary isn't going to give up. She will continue to work to change the minds of the SD's right up until the convention. This signals the end of phase 1 and the beginning of phase 2. It isn't over.

I believe you are wrong. However disappointed she is, and she clearly is, that the party 'betrayed' her, or whatever way one wishes to portray the fact that she didn't ever get far enough ahead in this nomination process to become the nominee, I do think that she believes in certain issues above and beyond this 'disappointment' and she will do whatever is required to try to implement these policies this time.

It's possible that she is looking for the VP spot at this point. I don't know though.

That's my take on it. She'll back Obama as the nominee before the week is out.

HRC has been, for a very long time, a symbol of health care reform in this country. If Obama wins in November, HRC should be behind that effort and the Act, if passed, should be named after her. JMHO. No one's done more to advance that argument than she has!

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Agreed - I think that's a fair assessment.

I do think though that she would be a good VP choice - that would at least go some way to repairing some of the disillusionment in the party over a very hard fought, very negative nomination process.

I was enjoying "Operation Chaos" that was happening.

Sorry Dog.

So Operation Chaos is still in effect! Great!

Operation chaos has become "She is quitting, she is not quitting, she is quitting, she is not quitting."

Of course, with all the debt she has, she needs her followers to think she will stay to get them to pay it off.

I want to run up my debt and have someone else pay it off. That's a sweet deal...

It's official - if Hillary bows out, Chris is moving to Canada. Even Stephen Harper is better than life under Obama.

Considering they are relatively equal issue wise, that would make no sense.

Yeah really. People said that in '04 in the event Bush were to win the election. The difference being that they had 4 years of his policies to look back on.

Thats, Obamabots say she is quiting and Hillbots say she isn't. I still stand by my prediction. She is in until the convention where there will be a big fight. This will make the '68 convention look like a tea party.

I agree, she is not going away, and why should she it isn't like she is not in the running and it isn't like she hasn't seen the job first hand (you have to admit she at least has that much)
