Hello All!

I have all my documents prepared for my upcoming interview this June 11. Also, I have each and every piece of all my original documents duplicated (xeroxed). However I am kinda wondering about the following:

1) Has anyone here personallyexperienced or maybe witnessed or knew other applicants whose original documents were forwarded to the interviewer/consul and were returned, or maybe not returned after? :help:

2) Those who were asked by the interviewer to show proof of financial support. Did you showed the duplicate copy or is it the original copy right away? :help:

3) Do I have to show right away all the original documents, or duplicates? Or should I just wait for the interview to ask about the originals, and until they dont ask, duplicate is ok as proof? :help:

4) I have 2 copies of DS156, 156k and 157. Where do these 2 copies go to? Does it go to the interviewer? :help:

I have all my original documents (primary docs, application forms, evidence of support and its financial docs attachment, evidence of continuous relationship and engagement) placed inside the clearbook. On the other hand, all its duplicates I fastened it up in a one folder (the same way, same format, my fiance compiled the documents he sent way back to USCIS).

I was just worried that in case the interviewer get all my original documents, I will not have anything more to save or to keep for the continuous process of k1 once i get to USA. If that would be the case, I will only have the duplicates.

Many thanks. Looking forward to your usual help.

Distance doesn't matter if you really love the person, what matters most is your honesty and trust for that relationship to work out. We may not get to see as often as we like, we may not get to hold each other in arms all through the night. While you're still in the Philippines get at least 2 Certified Copies of any NSO documents relating to your case. You may need them later when in the US.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Hello All!

I have all my documents prepared for my upcoming interview this June 11. Also, I have each and every piece of all my original documents duplicated (xeroxed). However I am kinda wondering about the following:

1) Has anyone here personally experienced or maybe witnessed or knew other applicants whose original documents were forwarded to the interviewer/consul and were returned, or maybe not returned after? :help:

NSO BC, CENOMAR & NBI - will not be returned to you anymore.

I-134 (notarized), ITR (xerox), W2 ( xerox) - will not be returned

snail mails, cards, emails, pictures & other evidences - will be returned to you after the Consul's interview.

2) Those who were asked by the interviewer to show proof of financial support. Did you showed the duplicate copy or is it the original copy right away? :help:

I-134 notarized (original)

ITR & Wage Statements can be xerox copies - no need to show originals

3) Do I have to show right away all the original documents, or duplicates? Or should I just wait for the interview to ask about the originals, and until they dont ask, duplicate is ok as proof? :help:

4) I have 2 copies of DS156, 156k and 157. Where do these 2 copies go to? Does it go to the interviewer? :help:

The pre-screener will collect them from you before you will be interviewed by the consul.

DS-156 - 2 copies

DS-157 - 2 copies ( 1 copy fill up online ) + (1 copy hand written -validated by the bank)

DS-156K - 1 copy only

I have all my original documents (primary docs, application forms, evidence of support and its financial docs attachment, evidence of continuous relationship and engagement) placed inside the clearbook. On the other hand, all its duplicates I fastened it up in a one folder (the same way, same format, my fiance compiled the documents he sent way back to USCIS).
