My sister used to be a hairstylist and she used to bring me to those hair shows. They're lots of fun, for girls anyway. I've seen lots of men bored out of their minds when they go with their girlfriends. Only the gay ones have a blast.

If they're male and in the industry, they're usually totally into it as well....I can see how it'd be boring for non industry peeps...I spent the better part of an hour discussing acrylic liquid-to-powder ratios with the CND rep. My hairstylist friend I was with was bored senseless. Vice versa when we were discussing hair formulas with some other reps.

I took a few courses as well, so I've learned a few new things. In the industry for like 17 years...who sez ya can't teach an old dog new tricks? hahahahah

I also ran into some old friends from S Fla!!!! That was totally wild and v cool! I ran into someone who was like my best friend from 8 years ago!!!! Another one of em was my boss from like 10 years ago. I only worked for him for a few mos, and he was like 'HOLY SH!T IS THAT YOU?' at first, I was all then I was freakin out.
