Can someone explain to me what this SMS courier thing is?

Dense,I know, but first time I heard of it, I just thought they send it recorded delivery?

While you're at the Embassy you'll be directed to the desk of the courier company (SMS). You pay them (minimum £14) and give them your contact and delivery details, including your mobile number. The day before they deliver your visa and passport they send you a text message so that you can arrange to be in.

Not sure if it's changed since I received my visa, but I had to receive it personally and show ID to the delivery guy. Just something you might want to bear in mind.

That's a handy tip. I was going to have someone at home whilst I was at work, but I'll take the day off if that's the case. Twist my rubber arm, like.

I know your interview is Thursday too, what are you doing about the medical results? Did your appointment letter say bring them in a sealed envelope? But I have called the medical folk and they said they courier them, just wondered what you were doing and to check the doctor's place hadn't handed you anything.

good luck btw!
