Absolutely! We did our research before we bought her to know and understand what kind of doggy she was going to be and what her needs were. We keep her on a very strict diet. She only gets fed twice a day, and she ONLY gets dog food. We feed her all natural dog food. She also only gets all natural dog treats Thats it. Shes such a good tempered dog, but just very stubborn while she listens to her own nose. Once we move into our own house we are considering getting another basset to keep her company. But next time, we are going to pick up a pup from the pound and not from a store. She was $1200 bucks!!!

aww you sound like a good mommy One of the receptionist where I worked has owned Basset for many years and she is crazy about them So I see them around quite often.

Oh me, been doing good lately Just busy working on the apartment on our spare time. We bought a turtle in November and he's outgrown his little tank, so we just got him a bigger one. But to fit it in the living room we need to move some furniture around and its a mess in here! Once we are done with that I should be able to relax a little more

Those turtles get so damn big! They are great little things though. I used to love watching them try to bite my fingers when I was little. Are you painting your apartment at all?

I fear that my basset will inevitably get fat haha Since her body won't grow much more, she will continue to put on weight even if we try and restrict what she eats. Some of them can get kinda...ugly. haha But seeing them as puppies gives you this warm, fuzzy feeling inside!!! We just saw one that was 3 months old and had such a fat little tummy it actually touched the ground when she was upright haha

Well my turtle specie won't grow more than 7-9 inches, and since we have a male he will stick around 5-6 inches, which isn't too big...We made sure we knew what we were getting!

I am not painting anything as we want to get a house sometimes next year, and if you paint any colors you have to paint it back white when you leave....what a waste of time! It is kinda blah in here, but I try to accessorize. We just have to move one of our display bookcase with glas doors in our bedroom, then move the bookcase with books at it's spot and then move the 48 ga fish tank to that spot, cause it's been sitting in the middle of the living room for 2 weeks now....
