OK, I am compiling all of the paperwork I need for my fiance when she goes to her interview later this Summer. When she hands in the I-134 forms, tax returns, etc. etc, does she also hand in the "evidence" of our relationship, such as copies of airline ticket stubs, emails, Yahoo chats, etc?

Or does she hold onto that for the interview itself and they will then ask for her to hand that over?

Sorry for the confusion, but I leave in 24 hours and still don't know exactly which was is right.

Thanks

Hi Matt

Generally one has documents, evidence etc on hand at the interview and hands things over as requested.

Good luck with everything

I can tell you about my experience in Morocco,

They only took the FORMS & 2 passport size photos. I've heard some embassies also take the I-134 with supporting evidence, but I doubt that any take the evidence of ongoing relationship. You will most likely keep them untill you get called by a CO, & then you can show them if they request any.

good luck

Hi Ya Matt,

As a rule of thumb-make 2 sets of copies for everything.

One for her.

One for you (an extra just in case anything gets lost)

and the originals for them if they ask.

I have found that covering one's butt gets you places in this journey we're all on.

Always anticpite that someone will not do their job properly, and lose something. Be one step ahead and be ready, just in case they do. Saves time, sweat and grief.

If I do not speak with you before your trip, I wish you a good and safe journey. Have a great time with your beautiful lady.
