My favorite one (and possibly one of my favorite episodes of television) is the one where the banker who likes to read but hates people is in the bank vault reading when a nuclear weapon strikes and the only one left alive. He leaves the bank and heads to the library, to line up all the books he will read. He then breaks his glasses.

Another good one was the one where a 41-yr-old ultra-boring, ultra-cheap office worker finds a stopwatch which (when he presses the "stop" button) freezes time for all except himself.

He uses the watch to avenge himself on his erstwhile employer (who pink-slipped him at the start of the episode) and then later to rob a bank. While he's wheeling out the cart of moneys, he rolls over the watch and breaks it!
