Well, she didn't get her pink again, yet she got another fing blue slip. This time saying that we don't have enough proof and need more evidence. She will send me the copy of the 2nd blue slip later today. I don't know what more proof I can possibly provide or who to contact to help us. This is ridiculous. I mean we have hundreds of emails, receipts of phone calls, text messages, pictures, airline tickets for June and September, not to mention that we have known each other for almost 2 years now. SHe mentioned that the consulate sugested that I come there so thyat we have more evidence. I will however know more later.

I am so frustrated at this whole process this does not seem just of fair whatsoever.

1.) You can contact Marc Ellis. This would be my first step.

2.) You can go there as they suggested. This would be my second step.

3.) You could try the marriage route again. Been down that road, but......

4.) You could get her pregnant. Last resort with no guarantee. It would make your case more compelling though. Others have succeeded with this option.

I'm not questioning that you provided false information but I'm appalled that anyone would have to do this to get a visa granted. This is disgusting!

This proves absolutely nothing.

To the OP: I would either go there or get a lawyer on it ASAP.

Good luck.

Tell that to the 5 (that I know of) that have been granted visas due to having a child. If a child is in the plans then what does it hurt? I knew this would bring out the "boo birds".

I have to agree.

Go to the embassy and argue your case.

What happens if you follow the impregnate her route and she isn't granted a visa?

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Others have been told to do this also - bring your US fiance to the consulate for a subsequent interview - My wife's friend got her visa a month later on her second interview when her fiance also went to the consulate in Colombia. It seems when the evidence is weak - not the quantity but the quality and or there is suspected fraud or inconsistency - the USC fiance is asked to attend - in all cases that I remember the visa is granted at the second interview. There was a Mexican, an Indian, a Peruvian, another Colombian and a Philippines beneficiary who went through this or is going through it recently also. Its quite simple - go there at the next interview and answer the questions put through - most are granted visa. (Yes you end up spending money for airfare, hotel etc.) Good Luck

Yes, go to the Consulate (not Embassy) and MAYBE they will grant you permission to see somebody. Personally, I retained Ellis from the beginning. I want to have my wife here with me and if it means paying someone who has proven results (which he does) then I'm on board. This is HCMC folks. They subject some people to things that are absolutely unheard of anywhere else.

To clarify my position. I would not recommend getting someone pregnant solely for a Visa. If you are planning on having children though it is an option. What if they denied the petition? Then it is time to raise holy hell with the press and anyone else that will listen.

The O/P has already been ran through the ringer by BOTH Governments.

And add two Ecuadorians to the above.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Pregnancy only proves you had sex with SOMEONE not necessarily the person in question.....then that also may need to be proven later if there is more questions. It is a shame anyone has to prove their love with a few papers and a 10 min interview to someone that has no idea of your life. I bet going there would do the trick  and even then what would someone do that couldnt get free or afford to make a extra trip

I emailed Lima embassy about some questions, this is what I got as feedback:

Dear Ms. Xxxxx:

Your presence is not a requirement but a recommendation. When the

petitioner is here things go easier and faster if something raises

during your husband's interview.

Sincerely,

My suggestion, go and show up together in embassy.

I greatly appreciate everyone’s feedback. This has been a very grueling and traumatizing ordeal for the both of us, especially after we provided the consulate with everything that they had asked for on the original blue slip. She is distraught at this point as I am. We feel like the world is against us at this point and have hit a dead end. I guess that all we can do is turnaround and try and find our way. I don't think that pregnancy is the best option merely because I would never want my son or daughter born in this type of atmosphere, not to mention her. The hospitals are not up to our standards and many women die from given birth. This also does not necessarily guarantee that we will get a visa. Tomorrow, I plan to contact my Congressman/Congresswoman and anyone else who I think may help. We unfortunately made the mistake of hiring someone in Vietnam to help us through the process but he has done very little for us. I fully intend to #### can his ### ASAP, pardon my French, and hire someone who is more trustworthy and repeatable to help us. I will go there if I need to but it is very difficult for me to take the time off from work at this point in time. I mean, she is certainly more important to me than a job but the unfortunate fact is that I need that job to put food on the table and to provide shelter for us when we are finally together. I was however planning on taking a week off to pick her up being that the flight is very long and she has never flown before. I would never want for her to travel alone so… Again, we do greatly appreciate everyone's input and any information that you could provide us with.

Best regards,

Jeff

Unfortunately it is easier said than done. I feel so helpless right about now. I guess that we have no choice but to just try and do what we can to make it through this rut. Hopefully God will shine some light on us and answer our countless number of prayers.
