Good morning!!!

My fiance have his verification of employment which format is different from the sample here..The details shows his id number, his position, and date of employment and his base pay.My question is the base pay reflected seems to be his basic pay per month it doesnt reflect the annual gross income. Will that be okay?and his company sent the verification of employment trhough email that will mean i will have what seems like a scan copy cos they emailed it to him..

And on the I 134 form it ask for the annual gross income, does it ask for the annual gross income reflected on his 1040 or income tax return? Please enlighten me

Thanks

My letters of income sound the same. Large companies sometimes have a standard way they report or verify employment and it's not always going to be like the letter they describe here. I think it should be fine in that way since it seemed to cover all the information. The embassy will have to multiply the monthly by 12 if they want to calculate it themselves. .

I don't know about the email. It would be better to show some kind of company letterhead paper or logo and a person's signature.

On my I-134 I put the annual gross income reported on my two letters. My 2007 tax return is different because I only started getting one of my sources in January 2008. I consider what I'm earning right now each month and forward to be my income, not what I got last year.

I don't know how strict your embassy is about the I-134 but I'm not too afraid about our embassy because I read posts of interviews where many said they didn't even ask to see all the supporting documents to the I-134. I have given my fiance all the documents anyway. You should read reviews about your consulate and see what people say about the Evidence of Support.
